El Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya se encuentra en Kusatsu. El alojamiento está situado a 10 minutos a pie de Kusatsu Yubatake y de la terminal de autobuses de Kusatsu-Onsen. La situación del hotel es inmejorable y el personal fue super amable y atento, incluso llegamos nos dejaron una nintendo retro conectada a la televisión para poder jugar aunque llegamos tarde. Nos enseñaron a usar el onsen privado de nuestra habitación porque el agua viene hirviendo de la montaña. Aunque no se contrate la habitación con baño privado, el hotel tiene tres onsen privados que los huéspedes pueden usar. Incluso nos llevaron en coche a la estación de autobuses porque había empezado a nevar. También tienen dispensador de cafe, te y una maquina expendedora de bebidas así como microondas para los huéspedes en la zona común. Si volvemos a Kusatsu seguro que repetimos hotel.

This little Ryokan-style hotel was so nice that I missed it very much after leaving Kusatsu Onsen. I have stayed in a total of 14-16 hotels all over Japan by now (over the years) and this is easily one of the best (if not the very best). I appreciated the vegetarian breakfast very much: it was very elegant as well as nutritious. They also checked the ingredients with me. The wide Tatami mat area exceeded expectations: I could relax with panoramic views of the snow capped mountains while dining or just working (digital nomad-ing was easy with fast wifi). There were many drawers and cupboards: storage space was never an issue. The Toto Smart toilet was more advanced than those variants in 5-Star hotels. The hotel is proximate to all the important places and just opposite the bus stand: I only just had to cross the road with my luggage. I also discovered multiple short routes to Yubatake every single day (I stayed for three days). The same family/organisation also operates the Yume Hana restaurant next door and guests of Oyado Yukizumi receive a complimentary beverage service while dining in Yume Hana. The Yukata they provide is very nice and I wore the same to the main Onsens in the area. The staff are very caring and kind hearted, for example, when I was leaving, seeing that it was raining, they asked me to take their umbrella with me (I declined the same). Later, I missed the level of kindness and attention to each individual guest I received while staying here - that is something you will not get from large branded hotels. Thank you, Oyado Yukizumi, I was very touched.

Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 está en Takasaki, a 28 km de Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. We were travelling by train so it was very convenient for Tendou-san, the monk, to pick us up from the Takasaki train station for a reasonable additional charge. Tendou-san knew enough English to converse with us on the 30-minute drive to the hotel. The hotel is small and charming, next to the beautiful samurai temple and garden with a koi pond. The deluxe quadruple room was very large for just two people. The kotatsu table was a nice place to relax and be warm. The futons were very comfortable for sleeping. Like other reviews mention, some of the walls don't extend all the way up to the vaulted ceiling/roof, so there is potential for noise to pass in and out of rooms. However, we were the only ones there that night (others were dissuaded by snow forecast) so we had the whole place to ourselves. We had dinner and breakfast; both were delicious with large portions. We participated in the morning meditation. Tendou-san explained some history of the temple, initiated our meditation, and then left us to finish we felt ready to be done. It was a very nice experience that I would recommend to anyone!

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) está en Kusatsu, a 45 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani y a 14 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Todo estaba muy cuidado, el personal fue muy amable, y la ubicación es perfecta. El desayuno tradicional estaba delicioso. Fue el hotel que más nos ha gustado de nuestro viaje por Japón. 🥰

We arrived to a stunning sight of Tanigawa Mountain, which immediately set a serene tone for our stay. - Room Ambiance: We stayed in the "Tachibana" room, named after flowers. It was quiet, peaceful, and surprisingly spacious. The overall atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing city getaway. - Private Onsen: The private onsen was the highlight of our stay, offering a tranquil and rejuvenating experience. - Dining Experience: Both dinner and breakfast were impressive, with beautifully prepared and delicious meals.

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. Soumeian está en Kusatsu, a 47 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. El alojamiento se encuentra a 15 km de Mt. Everything was fantastic. The ladies that greeted us were so adorable, the room vas spacious and very clean. We could choose the color of yukata and we could go to town and public onsens in it, also had baskets for towels. Breakfast is another experience in privet room that has a view on small garden. And charming older lady serves breakfast with many delicious thing in small plates. location for us vas perfect, ryokan is close to the Otaki no yu onsen, which we loved the most, and to Yubatake is 13 minutes walk.

Sekizenkan Kashotei Sanso se encuentra en Nakanojo, a 49 km de Estación de esquí de Naeba y a 36 km de Ishidan-gai Steps. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis.... What an amazing stay in such a historic ryokan. It is the oldest ryokan in Japan, so, as you can expect, there will be some signs of age in the common areas/hallways. However, our rooms were modern and the hospitality and meals were absolutely 5*!! Loved it.

El Houshi Onsen Chojukan está situado a orillas del río Houshi y ofrece un baño termal público, alojamientos de estilo japonés con conexión Wi-Fi gratuita y platos de cocina japonesa. Este alojamiento es increíble, muy auténtico y con mucho encanto. Los baños son preciosos y super relajantes. La habitación era enorme y tenía hasta un sillón de masajes.
