Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Entertainment options include cable channels and a DVD player. Certain rooms include an en suite bathroom. Toiletries and slippers are provided for in the private and shared bathroom. Staying at Kikunoya met and exceeded our expectations. The view from the room was gorgeous. Thank you to Omori who made our dining experience even more special.

The 3-star ryokan has garden views and is 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple. The ryokan features family rooms. The perfect getaway. Everything from the first step in the door. Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple. It is located 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and provides luggage storage space. Museum of History and Folklore is 1.1 km from the ryokan and Shiraito Falls is 1.5 km away. The hotel was just minutes from the port. The host was extremely helpful. Good coffee and tea available and a small area with homemade craft items for sale. The room was spacious including a balcony-like alcove looking toward the sea. The name - moon rabbit - was very fitting.

The spacious ryokan is equipped with 1 bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and a toaster, and 1 bathroom with a bidet, slippers and a washing machine. The ryokan offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. I highly recommend this accommodation. It's absolutely stunning, our only regret was not staying longer than a night, you really want a minimum of 2 to make the most of it. We will definitely be coming back one day 😊

Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. Japanese-style hotel Mizuhasou specialises in fresh seafood and exquisitely prepared local seasonal dishes. Meals are served at the dining room. Food was amazing, very generous amount. Baths were lovely, beds comfy and staff helpful and pleasant. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone going to Miyajima.
