Guesthouse Hvitafell was super clean, I loved it. The hot tub overlooking the valley was excellent and the bed was a 10. The kitchen has all you need, with tea and coffee complementary. All in all just an excellent place to stay in Laugar.

The location was excellent for visiting the sights. The check-in process was straightforward, and all the details were clearly explained in the message we received prior to our arrival. The place was neat and clean when we got there, with fresh towels and bed linens available. The kitchenette was well-equipped and included coffee and creamer. Overall, it was an amazing stay that exceeded our expectations.

EVERYTHING. Our group of 8 absolutely loved this place like our own. Beautiful, huge bathroom. Great dining area with kitchen. Very responsive communication and very helpful as well when we have some small requests. 100% would stay here again and for a longer time if we could. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay!!! The house is absolutely wonderful from the outside and inside. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need, the dining room is big. The room is nice, beds are comfortable. When we arrived, the house looked unfinished and we initially thought it wasn't the property we booked. But when the owner showed us the apartment -which is situated on the ground level of the house- we were pleasantly surprised. It looks very new, modern of neat. The location is good for those who want to explore the sites around lake Myvatn.

The apartment had everything we needed: the kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a washing machine. The bed was comfortable and the location is quiet. There were some cute birds outside ❤️ Unfortunately we didn’t had time to use the free access to the pool nearby :( The location is very close to the Godafoss waterfall (15 minutes by car) and Myatvn (30 min by car)

A wonderful place with a very cozy cottage — we wish we could have stayed longer than just two nights. There were horses nearby, a stunning sunset view, and lovely hosts. Our child really enjoyed spending time with the horses. The house had everything we needed and nothing unnecessary. It was amazing! We stayed with our child in early July.
