The bed was very very comfortable and the heating worked wonderfully even though it was a cold day outside. The old milk bar has been done up a treat and this was the most interesting and different accommodation we have had. It is simply fantastic. We would very highly recommend to anyone, and particularly with a couple of children as there is much to occupy them there.

Situated just less than 1 km from J Ward Museum, Acacia Caravan Park & Holiday Units provides accommodation in Ararat with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Our room was close to the lovely swimming pool, especially welcome on a very hot day. A small table and two chairs on the balcony. In the kitchen it was handy to have a full size fridge. A microwave as well as an electric cooktop with oven are there for a longer stay. The compact bathroom featured a rain shower. Television is connected to Ballarat stations. We appreciated the park is small, owner-run and near the main part of town. When wifi access was difficult, the staff helped out with an alternative that worked perfectly. All in all a pleasant overnight stay.
