The hotel is located in a paradise, views are breath taking, gardens are insanely beautiful and the overall set up with different areas (Bars, restaurants, swimming pool, etc.) is extremely well made. Would definitely go back there and if you only book one night you might regret it as even 4 were not enough... Note, if you meet Roberto (Parrot) in the stairs, don't stand in front of him, he has a unique way of showing you that you should move and my wife's toes remember it.

Amazing hotel? Would definitely recommend it! Great resort, spacious and comfortable rooms and living areas and very good A/C. Great location? Close to Tyron Park. Beautiful beach just outside of the hotel and also very nice pool to chill when see is too choppy. Staff was very friendly and helpful, restaurant in the hotel had great food options too!

We loved our short stay at Cabana Barlovento, we wished to stay more but they were fully booked (for a reason). The view from our room has been amazing, we were literally above the beach. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable, many thanks for that!

Everything:) The property is located in the jungle but also is easily approachable -3mins off the main road. The rooms -especially if you get the high floor-have amazing views of jungle and sea. The staff is amazing-everyone is going the extra mile to help you have the best time. From the reception to the restaurant, everyone is friendly and there to help. The biggest and most pleasant surprise was from the hotel’s restaurant. Chef Esteban and his team are creating amazing dishes in a restaurant that already has guaranteed guests (not easy to go elsewhere for dinner in the jungle). Despite this, they put major effort to their dishes and are delivering outstanding flavors. All is well cooked, with real attention. congratulations again :) Another thing to note is the story behind how this property was developed in the jungle, where basic modern amenities (like hot water and wifi) are difficult to secure: in this place you feel privileged to shower in hot water while your bathroom is surrounded by trees and birds. Well done to all the team! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Ana and Guillermo made me feel very welcome and helped me whenever they could. I was lucky there cause I was traveling alone and they helped me with everything and cared. Very recommended. Bus stops in front of the door, so super practical to find and get anywhere.

The staff members are all exceptional, in particular Jonny’s, elieser and Lydia. The rooms are very spacious, clean and with simple but nice furnishings. The wooden flooring and the high roof, gives the bungalow a very stylish outlook.

A very cool off-the-beaten track gem, like entering a secret garden. Beautifully lush grounds, with cabanas that feel private and nestled right into nature. There’s all sorts of little hideaways to hang out in, and there’s access to the river with hammocks. The restaurant building is great to hang out in, and my little cabana was comfortable and clean. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. A very memorable stay.

Staff were extremely friendly and smiley, personal thanks to Santiago who was absolutely brilliant. We had a very heavy bag and staff took care of it despite the very many stairs. Welcome cocktail which is a nice touch. The room was very clean and the shower had hot water which is rare in the area. The views are fantastic, you will love the sunset. Dinner was good (very yummy coconut rice) and they even asked whether we wanted our red wine at room temperature (they tend to serve it cold in Colombia). Good breakfast. Close to Tayrona Park which avoids having to do a long drive. Hotel helped us organise our taxi requirements.
