The Sands at Nomad is an exceptional, world-class resort located on a prime site on Diani Beach, Kenya. The resort is surrounded by tropical forest which ensures that there is no outside noise pollution. The forest is home to a variety of creatures, including at least 2 types of monkeys (Black and white Colobus and Syke's or Samango monkeys) Dik-dik, Bush babies (Grester Galago) and numerous species of birds. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable, ranging from standard Sea Breeze rooms to private villas. I had a Beach bungalow - ideal for single travelers or couples, whilst my friend had a standard Sea Breeze room. The Beach bungalow had the advantage of being right on the beach (literally about 15 m from the pure white sand) and benefitted from the sea breeze, whereas the Sea Breeze room, despite its name, did not get much benefit from the breeze due to tall trees which blocked the view of the beach, but had a great ambience. Both rooms were air conditioned, so the breeze was not essential. There are a wide range of watersports and activities on offer.

Everything was exceptional. The hostess was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. We booked one night at Villa Branca but ended up staying three nights and the reason is simple, this place is awesome. Not only were the facilities great, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The swimming pool is so nice and what's better than sitting at the bar in the pool and enjoying drinks or light dishes that Robert was constantly bringing to us. The first day we had Samosa and my wife liked it so much that Robert invited her to the kitchen the next day and taught her to make it. Susan the manager was so helpful and kind. Thanks to everyone at Villa Branca, we can't wait to come back hopefully very soon, Thor and Helga.

The food was a highlight—delicious, with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and the resort has several clean and warm pools, offering a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were polite, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The all-inclusive package was definitely worth the money. Overall, we would recommend this resort.
