Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

Everything - the amazing views, the comfy beds, the delicious homemade food, the super friendly and helpful staff, the train in the distance, the peacefulness. The property is 1.5km out of town, so you feel like you have escaped but you’re also just a 20 min walk to town. We loved it so much we extended our stay twice! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this brand new property. The family who runs it are incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was immaculately clean, and the location, though slightly outside the busy Ella town, was perfect for us – a tranquil jungle retreat just a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride away. We loved being surrounded by nature. The option for homemade meals was a huge plus, and the breakfast we had was exceptional. Very nice place to stay for a few nights or even one night. Very friendly hosts. Location in Ella on the mountain, our favorite, with a beautiful view. Very clean room and bathroom, the room is small but cozy, enough space for two people. Breakfast on the terrace and sitting out anytime lifts your spirits and allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. If you are without a bike/car, the hosts have a tuk tuk and will take you into town for a good price. The ratio of price/quality is above and beyond. We recommend it for accommodation, we will come back again if we get the chance.

Good quality/price room, with good matress, mosquito net protection and antimosquito plug device, hot water, fridge! hair dryier and a iron. The terrace and the views were amazing, its the perfect place to relax and enjoy being in the nature. The breakfast was huge and delicious with sri lankan or western options. Ruwan and his wife were very kind and attentive and Ruwan is open to pick you up and drop you to/from downtown by his tuktuk and even available to guide you and make a tour throughout the most important Ella’s touristic spots.

    Absolutely stunning location in the mountains of Ella. The views are worth the stay! Breakfast was yummy. The pool is beautiful (very chilly). The massage and spa treatment were wonderful! The location is nice for hiking and a short ride into Ella. The buggies were quick and very helpful. Some of the staff at breakfast were so lovely and kind. I don't think there is a better place to stay in the region!

    Huge room with the most incredible view! Monkeys playing on our balcony and the sound of wildlife surrounding you. The staff at Serenite Ella were fabulous and really friendly. We thought the breakfasts were the best we’d had on our travels through Sri Lanka and we also ate lunch there which was delicious. The spa was also super to have on site and we both enjoyed a relaxing massage.
