Perfect location, great views, near railways, so you can see the trains passing by. In 7 minutes you can walk to Ella. The other way on the railway will bring you to the waterfall en Ella Rock. When you just passed the trainbridge, go down, and ask the women for guiding you to a beautiful viewpoint. On your own its difficult to find. Breakfast is good. The caretaker Lashman is gentle and tells a lot of things to visit/to do. From were you will have breakfast, the view uphill is lovely, looks like a jungle. We parked our tuktuk just across the railway.

Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

The place is beautiful and peaceful, few minutes tuktuk drive from the busy and loud city center. Walking distance from little Adam's peak and the nine arches bridge. Shiva the owner is lovely and very friendly. The place is crazy clean. Balcony view into the forest. Very suitable for families as it has large rooms with few beds.

We had a wonderful stay at this brand new property. The family who runs it are incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was immaculately clean, and the location, though slightly outside the busy Ella town, was perfect for us – a tranquil jungle retreat just a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride away. We loved being surrounded by nature. The option for homemade meals was a huge plus, and the breakfast we had was exceptional. The location is outside of Ella, which gives it a peaceful atmosphere with incredible views that are absolutely worth it. The host is super kind and always happy to help with his own tuk-tuk for a very reasonable price. During afternoon rain, you can enjoy a delicious homemade dinner at the property for a great price.

Everything was perfect, breakfasts and dinners were huge and delicious - we asked for spicy and it was spicy. Big and clean room, nice view from balcony. Good contact with owner via WhatsApp, he also transports by tuktuk to the entrance for free.

    Absolutely stunning location in the mountains of Ella. The views are worth the stay! Breakfast was yummy. The pool is beautiful (very chilly). The massage and spa treatment were wonderful! The location is nice for hiking and a short ride into Ella. The buggies were quick and very helpful. Some of the staff at breakfast were so lovely and kind. I don't think there is a better place to stay in the region!

    Huge room with the most incredible view! Monkeys playing on our balcony and the sound of wildlife surrounding you. The staff at Serenite Ella were fabulous and really friendly. We thought the breakfasts were the best we’d had on our travels through Sri Lanka and we also ate lunch there which was delicious. The spa was also super to have on site and we both enjoyed a relaxing massage.
