Excellent room.size and very clean! Had a safe too and very nice hot shower! Staff were greatand the breakfast was fantastic every day - very tasty and filling..Management is hands on with guests as needed and takes great pride in exceptional customer service! Will be back whenever in town.

Very nice hotel on Thamel. Rooms are cozy and spacious, bathroom is really clean, beds are also very comfortable. Staff is nice and very helpful.

The hotel is rather new, was inaugurated 2 years ago and is built according to European standards. It is located in the city centre, but in a rather busy area as everything in the Thamel district. Due to its green as well as its cleaness, you feel rejuverated when you step in because you leave behind the noice and the dust. It serves continental and american breakfast, which are really generous and the menu has european, indian, nepali dishes which are excellent. Opposite the hotel there are 3 tourist office shops where you may book excursions and also bargain the price. I booked a budha air flight to the everest for 210 USD. It was worthy because the cabin crew offers personalised explanations on the mountains and takes photos while you are close to everest; make sure you select a left side seat on the aircraft in order to have more time gaizing the Everest. Also, going out of the hotel alley to the street- on the left- there is a currency exchange where you may change money and bargain a bit the rate. The hotel is highly recommended for people with mobility issues as it lacks steps, has and elevator and the corridor to the restaurant is reclined. The airport taxi costs 10USD approximately, however if you book it from the application 'indrive' it is about 500 rupies. The staff is friendly, proficient in English and do their best to make your stay easy and comfortable.

Beautifully decorated rooms, really central location in Thamal and really helpful, friendly staff. Appreciated them holding luggage for me (3 times) as I travelled around Nepal.

A lovely calm oasis . My room was comfortable, breakfast was really nice with plenty to choose from. The staff were helpful and courteous. I like the fact that any extra revenue from the hotel goes to helping the monks.

Breakfast was good we liked it and there is lot variation on it. Staff are so friendly and they treat us very well we like the service very much. I would mention that F&B Manager Sisir poudel is very helpful with my visa processing and ticketing. I was warmly welcomed upon arrival at the Aloft Thamel Kathmandu, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The atmosphere of the hotel made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The food was also delicious, and I really enjoyed every meal. Concierge staff Rishav, Roshan P., and Nama were especially helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back here again!

The hotel grounds are beautiful! It was also not too far from the airport. The property has amazing facilities and the BEST restaurant for dinner and breakfast! It was soooo comfortable.
