Providing lake views, CHALET am Schneeberg See is located in Puchberg am Schneeberg and provides a wellness area with a sauna and wellness packages. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. We were more people, so we had a chalet and a studio. Besides facilities (smart TV, utilated kitchen, really comfortable beds) we had a wonderful view over the lake. I would love to stay there again!

Mainly a seminar hotel, but happy to receive individual guests. Easy train ride from Vienna 70 min to Payerbach-Reichenau. From there the hotel offers transport, or alternatively walk 20-30 min along Schwarza river (avoid the Main Street). Indoor pool. Good breakfast in impressive historic dining room. Lunch and dinner options. Friendly staff. Good price-quality relation. (The hotel, while very nicely renovated, is not necessarily luxury, at least the parts that I’ve seen.) Good hiking options in and around Reichenau.
