The staff took such good care of us from the moment we arrived, Suji, Jay and Sana especially, but everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a small van to easily drive you into town or to activities and to pick you up whenever you’re finished. Sana recommended several local activities and took us to beautiful photo spots. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the view of Lion Rock our bed was magical. There is a restaurant on site and the pool was refreshing after hiking up Lion Rock on a hot day. Seriously one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! 10/10

Some rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. All units include views of the garden. Rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a shower. The host couple were very friendly and helpful. They serve the best breakfast in Sri Lanka. Almost impossible to eat it all.

The property is non-smoking and is set 5.8 km from Pidurangala Rock. Location and accommodation was dreamy. A cabana in the jungle and a swimming pool in addition. Wonderful and nice owner who is very helpful. Dinner and breakfast was another highlight. I can only recommend staying there - it is on top only a 15 minute walk to Sigiriya rock.

I arrived at this hostel to spend one night and ended up 4 and leaving was completely heartbroken 🥹❤️‍🩹It is a family hostel where I felt like one of the family, I am very very happy and grateful to have been lucky enough to find such a ✨special ✨place to which I will definitely return and of course recommend, because thanks to the hosts my experience in Sigiriya was spectacular🌄. The place is really nice and the owner is very welcoming. He was available and gave great insight on what activities we should do. He spotted our traveler profile and advised us accordingly. At the hotel, you can grab some bikes and there is a cool trail around the nearby lake... The room was clean, bigger than expected, and comfortable. The food was good and they bake their berad onsite etc... You can't go wrong there.

The accommodation offers a spa centre. Tropicara Resort exceeded my expectations! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always going the extra mile. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, offering great comfort. The food was delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that I looked forward to every day. Overall, it’s a perfect combination of excellent service, quality rooms, and amazing food. Highly recommended!
