Starting from the island itself, the reefs around, and ending with the people working there. From the first time we set foot on the island, we were looked after wonderfully. Starting from the person cleaning our room, through the employees of the bar, reception or water attractions, and ending with the service of the restaurant - the people working there are a real treasure. We were traveling with a small child, which can cause problems, but the staff was helpful to us all the time. The front desk staff guaranteed us to extend our stay on the island until late afternoon due to a late flight from Male, co What is very important, the food is of a high standard, the chefs try to make it varied and tasty, and they do it wonderfully. The reefs around are teeming with fish, snorkeling is free, and the staff in charge of it turns a daily trip into a unique experience. The rooms were clean, cleaned every day, and the water changed on a regular basis. We definitely recommend this place to rest and thank you for a great time! He cannot imagine that I could spend this time better during my stay in the Maldives.

In fact, you can walk around on the beach to the other side of the island - nice walk in a nice scenery. The room was spacious and clean. We got free snorkeling gear. We had breakfast and dinner included, which was in a restaurant next door - food choice was good and tasty, great value for money.

Continental and buffet breakfast options are available each morning at Veligandu Maldives Resort Island. Veligandu is an extraordinary resort for people looking for a totally peaceful holiday without people shouting, kids screaming around and loud music. It’s truly heaven if you’re looking for silence and complete relaxation. However if you’re someone looking for some partying and/or want to take small kids with you, this is not the most appropriate resort (fortunately). The best thing about Veligandu is the food. Every single meal is a 10/10, high quality ingredients and carefully prepared meals. It makes Veligandu on par with many fine dining and even Michelin guide restaurants across the world, even beating some of them. After renovations, the facilities and infrastructure turned out incredible, our ocean villa was out of this world, we couldn’t believe it when we walked in. Truly spectacular. The staff is super nice, and a special thanks to Nawal which was in charge of our villa and cleaning services. He did a superb job.

In addition, the resort offers a menu of bespoke romantic experiences and excursions which may be arranged upon request. The property has Chinese speaking staff. This was our second stay. And we had high hopes since our first stay was excellent - they didn't disappoint at all. The staff was friendly and competent again. The cleaning of the room was superb. The food was excellent - although since this time the resort was nearly full booked we hoped to get a bit more variety on the buffet, but this was no issue for us. They even renovated or fixed the AC - it is much quieter now and very efficient. The lagoon is amazing and great for snorkeling, swimming or just enjoying the water.

A variety of wellness packages are available for guests to get rejuvenated on-site. The area is popular for hiking and walking tours, and bike hire is available at this 3-star guest house. The guest house features a barbecue, outdoor fireplace and sun terrace. We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Cottage, the room was nice with a fun open air shower, the owner and staff were beyond kind and helped make it a great experience for my 80 year old Mother who travelled with me.
