The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. The staff were really friendly and helpfull! Great service and excellent location.

Perched on top of the cliffs overlooking Hermanus’s Walker Bay, The Marine offers first-class splendour and elegance and a spectacular seascape, with imposing views extending across Western Capes Walker Bay and beyond. Everything! Spacious, light and well designed room with good view. Pleasent, friendly and competent staff. Nice enviorments. Top of the line breakfast. Easy to acces and safe parking. The hotel is charming and clearly well managed.

All units are equipped with a fridge, minibar, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries and a desk. With a private bathroom equipped with a hot tub and a hairdryer, certain rooms at the hotel also offer a sea view. At Grand Lux Boutique Manor each room includes a flat-screen TV and a safety deposit box. The hotel staff (especially Jainesha -I hope I spelled her name correctly!) were very nice and professional. I got a massage at the hotel and it was a very good experience too. Highly recommended this hotel for anyone looking for a high quality hotel and welcoming staff.

I can only recommend VillaChad Guesthouse that is located in the little town Kleinmond. This town is on a beautiful Route R44 and also very close to Hermanus. So instead of sleeping in Hermanus, I would rather recommend staying in this VillaChad Gesthouse. This is an amazing property with lots of African charm and character in the rooms and in the living room. I also liked the quiet garden where everyone can relax and enjoy the moment, plus eat delecious breakfest and/or ordered dinner. The Owners are super friendly and helpful and they do everything to make your stay comportable. Thank you so much for that! There are two beaches in this town, some walking path along the shore and 15 min by car there is a beach with penguins colony. All in all, this property should not be missed, whether you are about to visit Hermanus or drive along the Route 44.

The pretty Abalone Guest Lodge is a 4-star property situated at Sievers Point, directly on the cliffs overlooking Hermanus Bay, an ideal spot for whale-watching.

The guest house serves a full breakfast each morning and whales can actually be spotted from the terrace as you dine al fresco. Jocelyn and team were Outstanding. My husband pre ordered with Jocelyn birthday surprises which were in our bedroom. All team were exceptional: professional, outgoing and All with SMILES ON THEIR FACES
