Everything! Beautifully designed, new bungalows in the middle of a tranquil oasis of a garden with delightful pool. Also with private outdoor shower! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Some other travellers mentioned it was far from the center but it wasn’t an issue for me, I walked every day and it was about 35 minutes along the beach. Would highly recommend if you want to stay in a beautiful hotel in the middle of nature and have a great night’s sleep while being close to Puerto Viejo.

We stayed in the Casita reina (the small house on the property). Everything was wonderful. The house is perfect for a couple. You got everything you need for cooking. Bed is comfortable. Missing a few hang hooks for the towel but otherwise all very comfortable. The pool is super nice. Kim, the host, is very accommodating and you ll received a warm welcome From her and her dogs. The house is about 10 minutes walk from the beach and a grocery store. 30 minutes walk from Puerto viejo so close enough to walk but far enough to enjoy a little peace and quiet if needed. Highly recommend:)

Breakfast was great and the property was directly on the beach - it was gorgeous. There was also fresh coffee brewing all day.

What a wonderful place to experience Pura Vida. The magic big tree in the beatiful garden not only offers a tree house and climbing options, but also a sloth right in front of the terrasse. The room was very spacy and comfortable. Both hosts are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. And the great and quiet beach is only 10 minutes on foot away. We spent 5 nights at Green Jungle House, and we would always come back!

This is the most amazing Lodge in whole Costa Rica. There are no words to describe its beauty. We feel blessed having a chance to experience this paradise. We recommend this place to everyone who would like to be as close to nature as it is only possible. While staying in El Nido Jungle Lodge you won’t need to go to any National Parks because all of the most amazing animals live nearby!

The resort was beautiful, lovely gardens, very spacious, well maintained and clean, great staff and lovely beach across the road yet resort was part of the jungle which meant lots of animal spotting.

It truly feels like we're living in the jungle, the pool and the villa are beautiful, even better than in the pictures. As we pulled into the parking lot, we were greeted by the howling of monkeys and a sloth hanging above us in a tree. If someone wants to be directly in nature but still in comfort, then this is an excellent place.

Set amidst the forest and 250 meters far from Playa Chiquita beach, Merlin offers free WiFi access.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Merlin. The staff was incredibly friendly, it was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! There is access to the beach right across the main road and a couple restaurants within a couple kms. They also have bicycle rentals which made everything seem much closer. Highly recommend!
