Superb location and views, spacious, beautiful, the terrace was amazing. Peaceful location. Birds chirping. Just loved this place and the way it is decorated. So tasteful and warm. Close to the center but at the same time away from the madness. Host left some coffee which was much appreciated.

A 2-night stay in end of october. The house is very cosy and located pretty high up in Positano and the view from the house and especially the roof terrace is fantastic. After first spending some nights in hectic Rome, we wished that we had spent more time here instead. Two adults and three kids, everyone loved it. At this time of the year it was comfortable temperatures (~20-21 deg C) when the sun is up, a bit chillier in the evenings. About the same weather as late August in northern Europe. Based on how Positano is located, the major parts of the town (this house included) gets morning sun but no evening sun. We enjoyed both sunny breakfasts and very cosy evenings on the roof. When I booked, I got the impression that the house is located close to the beach, and distance-wise it is actually not that far, but to get to the house there are about 600 steps from the beach level up to the house so if you have problems with stairs then Positano in general and this accommodation in particular might not be for you. There is a local bus that stops right outside the house, which might be worth considering if you have a lot of luggage or are tired in your legs. (€1.80 if you buy your ticket onboard, €1.30 if bought in advance. Ticket is required also for big luggage.). Eating out in Positano is pretty expensive, but there is a pretty well-equipped kitchen in the house. If you plan on cooking some of your meals in the house to make your travel budget last longer, then maybe it is worth considering buying some of your groceries and stuff in e.g. Napoli instead if you have space for it, since the selection in the grocery store is a bit limited and expensive.

The Villa was absolutely exquisite and there is something so special about taking a Funicular down to your room. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking and everything is so well organized and managed. It was wonderful having a shuttle service in and out of the town center as the walk can be very long and taxis are very expensive. The beach club is one of the most exclusive in the area and it a wonderful way to experience a Mediterranean beach day. The property managers are so very kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they answer messages immediately. The villa is so well designed and is spotlessly clean and elegant. Having your own pool is such a wonderful treat.
