Bay Plaza Hotel is located on Oriental Parade in Wellington’s city centre, offering rooms with satellite and Freeview TV and a tea and coffee maker. Te Papa Museum is a short 5-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly. Car park was secured for us.

West Plaza Hotel is a spacious, 5 level property located in Wellington CBD, just 3 minutes’ walk from Te Papa Museum. The staff that were on reception and the breakfasts were fabulous.

Ibis Wellington is set in the heart of the city, ideally located near the bustle of Lambton Quay and within walking distance to Parliament House, TSB Bank Arena, Westpac Stadium and the waterfront. The room was spacious and clean. They had a good buffet of breakfast.

Just 13 minutes’ walk from the iconic Te Papa Museum in the heart of Wellington, Travelodge offers rooms with flat-screen cable TV. It features a fitness centre. Free WiFi is available. Excellent service, I asked for an earlier check-in and they allowed for it.
