Reception and receptionists were very professional,, although there was a large number of people waiting to be booked in, they were very quick and pleasant. The food and buffet was better than we expected and the waiters and waitresses were pleasant, only down on the restaurant side is finding a table - there was a lot of people and some of it was blocked of so we had to wait for a vacant table. The bedroom was spacious, wardrobes were large, not enough hangers,, with fridge and air conditioning if needed and the room was very clean, there was even a safe if needed. Although a lot of the shops were closed as the season had not began we did not need them anyway as we were half board and the bar served snacks if needed. There are beautiful walks and the beach is clean and safe. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family - we had a brilliant stay and hope to go back next year.

Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Mojacar is a medieval Moorish, town in the Spanish Province of Almería. This white-walled destination, which is situated on a rocky hillside at the foot of the Sierra de Cabrera, will surprise you with its natural beauty and unique architecture.
Rich in history and cultural heritage, Mojacar has been populated since the 2000 BC by Moors, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians and Romans. Today, it is a maze of narrow streets with local shops, street markets and restaurants serving traditional dishes like the ancient 'gachas'.
Travellers can park their car and explore the old town of this beautiful resort on foot. Home to 17 km of Blue Flag sandy beaches like Granatilla, the Playa de los Genoveses and the Playa de Monsul, the modern part of this coastal resort is an ideal place to enjoy outdoor activities like swimming, sailing and surfing. Golf lovers can visit the 18-hole courses of the Marina Golf and Desert Springs.
Almería Airport is about 55 km from Mojacar and has flights to big cities like London, Brussels and Barcelona. Check the Booking.com deals and choose from a variety of hotels, apartments and guest houses in Mojacar or the nearby cities of Vera and Carboneras.

A beautiful coastal resort with lots of various eating places, bars and shops for tourist. Although we were on half board we ate out some lunchtimes further into Mojacar Playa. Very easy to get around as there are plenty of buses going to various places and lots of free car parking spaces. There really is nothing that is untoward in Mojacar only thing I can think of is the beach further up towards the town has a big drop into the sea and not really suitable for children.

A beautiful setting completely turned over to tourism.
A beautiful setting completely turned over to tourism. Beachfront section is super developed and too lengthy to walk. Are those hotels all-inclusives? The lack of private restaurants and supermarkets would indicate so.

Fantastic views. Not many (or any ?) eating places open early on Saturday evening in late November, but I was told sometimes they open up later on. If relying on this for a meal it's worth checking in advance. But it's an attractive settlement with impressive panoramic scenic views.

Best to take the bus to mojacar pueblo just 1euro.20 cents and leave the car at the hotel
The views are amazing and the various streets are picturesque. We live on an urbanisation in Spain and the difference is unique
1. The front desk rep., Nehuen that helped us each day was fantastic!'
He was always smiling and more than willing to help us with our questions/needs. He really made our stay a wonderful experience. Thank you Nehuen!!
2. The view from the room was wonderful... peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed the sunrise in the mornings and sunsets in the evenings on the terrace, which was very good size!
3. We liked that the hotel is located at the end of Mojacar... less traffic and quiet!

We loved the property, it was a last minute get away, it couldn’t have been any better, the hotel, gardens and especially the rooms totally exceeded our expectations, even having individual pillows which are not a common thing in Spain.
The check-in was flawless and very professional, the information we received regarding our stay was precise, the staff were wonderful and the breakfast which was included in the price was more than enough for us both.
We will definitely be booking another stay.
Open the door from the room and there's the beach!
It's a hotel from the 80s so isn't decorated in a modern style by any means, but that pales completely into insignificance when you consider the beachfront location, the service from Paca, the owner and the breakfast (continental). All this for just over 40€.
I'll definitely be back there.
The view was spectacular and the location unbeatable. It is a rural house at the top of the village of Mojacar, so you will feel like you are in a castle. Do not expect luxurious or high end facilities, but rustic charm and historical beauty --hard to match the location and views! What a unique property Mirador del Castillo is! Worth it!
The large apartment was centrally located. It was blocks from the cathedral, markets and restaurants. We had to park 2 blocks away in a parking garage. Because it is situated in the old town the cobblestone streets are narrow and parking was impossible.
The apartment was equipped with air conditioning, kitchen and living area.
Very nice welcome; easy check-in. Comfortable room - not big but suitable for the two of us, with a nice little balcony.
Good breakfast, quite generous; perfect to start the day!
Car park right outside the hotel.
A few steps away from the beach.
Overall an excellent value! Highly recommended!!
Ideal location in Mojacar old town.
Clean and comfortable, continental breakfast choice of tostada, croissant, cereal, homemade jam and marmalade, fresh orange juice, tea and coffee.
Hosts Alberto and Miki very knowledgeable of the area and nothing was too much trouble.
Will definitely return.
First time in this area. Hotel was immaculate the swimming pool area was spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and well organised.
Visited the Pueblo which was lovely with great restaurants we did not realise you could take the bus we got taxis there and back. Great scenery from the restaurants.
One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in so far in Spain. Great location, our room was really spacious and had a lovely view over to the sea. Great buffet evening meal and an excellent choice of food for breakfast. Easy on the spot parking, and staff very friendly.
Fantastic location. Fantastic price. Fantastic accommodation. Fantastic host. The room was basic, but extremely clean and had everything needed for a lovely stay in the pueblo. Extremely clean with fresh linen and towels every day. Mojacar's little secret...
The hotel is in a great position opposite the beach, it's a short walk to shops, restaurants & clubs & has a lovely pool area.
There's a bus service outside & a convenient supermarket beneath.
The family owners are very helpful & friendly.
Gorgeous view from balcony of gardens, Mojacar Pueblo, pools and the Mediterranean. Nice to have an enclosed pool for cooler weather swimming. Great to walk along the beach across the street. Nice big room and bathroom, cleaned daily.
Beautiful hotel with nice gardens, relaxing pool area & also various seating areas to chill. Lovely decor throughout. Breakfast was plentiful & good. Mountain backdrop with a view of the pueblo. Very accommodating staff.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location ,particularly for the old town was perfect. A nice walk into Mojacar Playa too. Breakfast was simple but nice quality. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
Location couldn't have been better, right in the centre of the old town, with lovely local restaurants nearby! Alberto & Miki are very welcoming and helpful. Spectacular views from the rooftop terrace!
A nice little hotel, very clean. The owner and bar staff very friendly.Very good location, value for money. The rooms are a little basic but overall very pleasant stay.
